The short version

Reading Nassau & Beyond does not put any advertising, analytics or tracking cookies on your device. That is why you don't see a cookie banner here.

Cookies we set

Cookie Who gets it Purpose How long
Editor session Only editors who sign in to manage the site Keeps an editor signed in securely 24 hours, or until they sign out

The editor session cookie is strictly necessary for the editors' area and is never set for ordinary readers.

Cookies set by others

We don't embed third-party advertising or social-media widgets. The network that delivers and protects our pages may set a short-lived, strictly necessary security cookie in some situations – for example to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. It is not used to track you across websites.

Browser storage

The site itself doesn't use local storage or similar techniques to identify readers.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies does not affect reading the magazine.
